Greetings, All!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent part of mine camping in the Black Hills for the first time, which was wonderful! 😊 (10/10 Highly Recommend) We are creeping up on the start of the Fall 2022 semester and it is still National Wellness Month, so now is a good time to be thinking about how you are going to be intentional about taking care of yourself in the coming months. It’s easy to get caught up in studying and doing projects and forget that you need to be making good choices about what you eat, how often you move/exercise, and how much sleep you are getting. Forming good habits on these fronts early in the semester will help you to continue prioritizing your health throughout the semester even when things get extra busy.
Here’s 3 articles on the subject of the big three:
* Healthy Eating 101: How to Eat Healthy in College<https://nutritiouslife.com/eat-empowered/how-to-eat-healthy-in-college/>
* Getting Enough Exercise in College<http://studentcaffe.com/thrive/health-and-wellness/getting-enough-exercise>
* College Students: Getting Enough Sleep is Vital to Academic Success<https://aasm.org/college-students-getting-enough-sleep-is-vital-to-academic-success/>
This week is pretty light on events. (Calm before the storm?) But there’s still some great scholarship and professional development activities worth checking out!
