[SDSMT-Seniors] FE Exam: FREE RESOURCES

[Stu Org SDSM&T SA STUDENT AFFAIRS]

Hi seniors! We in the student affairs committee are aware that many of you
will be taking the FE soon. We just want to reach out to ensure that you
are aware of the resources available to you.

*Don't buy a book!* - The testing center has FE review books for all majors
needing to take the FE Exam, and most departments also have a collection.
These are free to check out!
- Go to the testing center, or talk to your departmental administrative
assistant.

*Practice Tests!* - There is funding available to departments for the
purchase of both review materials as well as practice tests.
-(this funding is unable to be used to cover the cost of the registration
fee)
-If you are in one of the following departments you can take advantage of
this funding:

FE Civil

FE Mechanical

FE Chemical

FE Electrical & Computer

FE Industrial

FE Environmental

FE Other Disciplines

*Check with your employer!* - Occasionally, your full-time employer will
pay for you to take the exam, give a bonus for passing the exam, or
reimburse you for the exam if it is a requirement of employment.
-Career services may be able to help you work this into the full-time
negotiations.
