Just realized that the deadline for signing up for this free virtual Mental Health First Aid training is this Friday. I tried to register myself and it says it is full, but I was able to get on the waitlist. 😊

(Virtual) Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

This is a 2-part training. The first part of the training is a 2 hour self-paced online course that is a pre-requisite for participants. The second portion of the course is a 4.5 –hour virtual course which is led by MHFA-certified instructors and taught online through Zoom. Participants must complete the 2 hour self-paced course prior to the online Zoom course.
