The Division II Degree Completion Award Program will open for applications at 8 a.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, for the 2026-27 academic awarding cycle. The maximum award of up to $15,000 will be available per selected applicant and is dependent upon the institution’s tuition costs, as well as the total number of recipients selected.  Applications will be accepted through the NCAA Program Hub<https://click.mail2.ncaa.com/?qs=7bee1c39acca1fae7f125c0798e5ee2c1787dcb894b301fd37379dfce872d6ef16ddfff942b3366e41a635869c8f54f50a560449b3431a81> until Monday, February 16, 2026, at midnight Eastern time.

    The requirements for the Division II Degree Completion Award Program are listed below.

        Applicant shall be a student-athlete who has completed athletics eligibility and is completing their degree at an active NCAA Division II institution. Applicant cannot concurrently receive any athletics aid from the institution. The degree must be completed within 10 semesters (15 quarters). Other requirements for nomination for all student-athletes are listed below:

     *   Applicant must be within 40 semester hours (60 quarter hours) of completion of an undergraduate degree.
     *   Applicant must be meeting the institution’s standard for good academic standing.
     *
Applicant must use the award to complete the first undergraduate degree requirements from the institution where the student-athlete exhausted his or her athletics eligibility.
     *

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Program (NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship program - NCAA.org<https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2013/11/21/ncaa-postgraduate-scholarship-program.aspx>) : The NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship was created in 1964 to promote and encourage graduate education by rewarding the Association's most accomplished student-athletes through their participation in NCAA championship and/or emerging sports. It provides a $10,000 one-time award given to student-athletes who have excelled academically and athletically, and who plan to pursue graduate school. Up to 126 scholarships are awarded each year—split evenly between men and women—across the fall, winter and spring sport seasons.
