I would love to support your Athletes this year in their math classes. I have successfully worked with many Mines athletes over the years when they took my online classes from Black Hills State University. In an effort to keep Mines students at Mines for their classes, I have been hired to continue offering the same classes with the same successful structure at Mines.

Some of the features that students always appreciate about my classes are....


  *   The entire class is open the first day of classes.
  *   Students can work through the class at a (minimum) pace that works best with their busy schedules. If a student has a competition coming up, they can work ahead so they do not have to complete homework or exams while traveling.
  *   I will be proctoring exams on campus, so students do not have to find a proctor or commute to a proctoring center.
  *   Office hours for student support are both on campus and online, both during the day and in the evening.
  *   Students are sent reminder texts the evening before any assignment is due.
  *   Students can text questions, updates, etc to me anytime and will receive a prompt reply.
  *   I created all the lectures for the course with the primary objective of student success in mind. The lectures are thorough and focus on the problems and strategies students need to be successful.
  *   Because things do not go as planned sometimes, my courses have a second chance option if needed to demonstrate they have learned the required material. If a student misses an exam deadline or does poorly on an exam, the student can take the optional final to replace one missing or low exam score.

Would you help encourage your student athletes to register for my online Mines math classes? I will be offering Trigonometry (Math 120), Calculus I (Math 123) and Calculus II (Math 125) every semester and look forward to helping your athletes.

Please let me know if you have some time for me to stop by to answer any questions you might have about the class and its structure. I have my class organized with busy students and athletes in mind to maximize their learning and success with a flexible schedule and ample support.
