This email is intended for athletes who will exhaust their athletic eligibility at the end of the Spring 2022 semester, but who have yet to complete their degree program.

Please see the attached RMAC degree completion award applications below and distribute to your program's eligible student-athletes:

  *   2022-23 Dr. Stephen M. Jordan Degree Completion Award
  *   Summer 2022 Dr. Stephen M. Jordan Degree Completion Award
Applicants should submit completed applications no later than March 25, 2022, to our FAR, Dr. Jon Kellar. Dr. Kellar will submit completed applications to the RMAC via email by April 8, 2022. The due dates are the same for both the Summer 2022 and 2022-2023 applications - late submissions will not be accepted.

Please note that only student-athletes with exhausted eligibility should apply. Also, a student-athlete forfeits their degree completion award if they participate in a different sport from their original sport during their final semesters of attendance.

It is very important that the application instructions be followed. Applications that do not meet the requirements outlined in the instructions will not be reviewed by the committee. Here are some key points for completing the application.

  *   The application must be typed.
  *   GPA should not be included in the application or any supporting documentation, including the letter of recommendation.
  *   The letter of recommendation must be from a professor within the student-athlete's degree program.
  *   The personal statement written by the student-athlete must not be more than 500 words.
