Greetings, All!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We are one week away from Spring Break and hopefully the weather will be nice while we are out relaxing and recharging. 😊 During the break, we will be hosting the Women in Science Conference for 7th grade girls in the King Center and I could still use some volunteers! We will be setting up on Monday night ahead of the conference and then on Tuesday, March 12th, our department will have a table set up in the exhibit hall all day. * Established to recognize a full-time faculty member who has demonstrated a sustained record of outstanding overall accomplishments at SD Mines.

* To recognize any teaching assistant, teaching associate, instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor at SD Mines who has demonstrated excellence in teaching and/or motivating students.
* VIRGINIA SIMPSON AWARD
* Open to any SD Mines faculty or staff member to recognize and encourage new or continued involvement with the Rapid City community. This involvement may be through community activities, social services, volunteer services, etc.
* DICK KITCHEN AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING STAFF PERSON
* To honor non-faculty staff members at SD Mines who have distinguished themselves by demonstrating excellence in their work and encouraging students to complete their education at SD Mines.

* PT-OT Professionals (a local physical therapy clinic) is looking to hire some summer help starting June 1st. This job would be 8-20 hours/week at $15/hr and they would prefer a student interested in going into a health profession (pre-PT/pre-med/etc.).
