[Nano-bme] Resources for Pre-Health Students

Greetings, All!

Because I am going to be leaving Mines in a few months, I’ve been getting lots of questions about pre-health advising/resources. I wanted to share a wonderful resource for those who are interested and will be needing this kind of specialized support in the coming years.

The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP; Pronounced as “nap”) is a non-profit organization for those of us who work with students who want to go into the health professions (e.g. medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, optometry, etc.). This is a great organization that I’ve been a part of since I came to Mines in 2018 and they have lots of resources for advisors, but they also have some resources freely available for pre-health students as well.
