Greetings, All!

I hope you all were able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend! Our grad students hosted the first annual NANO-BME Expo (a resurrection/continuation of the NANO Expo) on Saturday. (See attached photo.) This was a wonderful way to showcase all of the exciting research happening in our department! Congratulations to Arik Ahmed, who took first place in the poster competition and to Amelia Huffer (who took second place) and Yoseph Loyd (who took third place). Also, big shout out to co-chairs Yoseph and Amelia for their efforts in organizing this event!

The 14th Annual Student Research Symposium was held last week on April 9th. Big congratulations to BME major, Cruz Franich, who won first place in the Undergraduate Poster competition and to NANO PhD student, Yoseph Loyd, who won third place in the Graduate Poster competition! These students will be recognized at the 73rd Annual Honors Convocation next week on Monday, April 22nd at 4:00PM.
