Well, we’ve made it to the last week of the semester! We wish you the best of luck with wrapping up your finals and hope you can join us for Commencement on Saturday for celebrating those from our department who are graduating. 😊
Also, big congratulations to BME undergraduate, Ale Meoni, who was just named an All-American student athlete by the American Volleyball Coaches Association! * The Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board is looking for volunteers to help with screening and paperwork for people attending their Historical Trauma & Unresolved Grief group that addresses and explores the cumulative effects of current and historical trauma, grief, and loss within the collective American Indian experience. * The Department of Materials Science & Engineering and the College of Engineering & Computer Science at the University of Central Florida are hosting a 10-week summer research program for students interested in the study and development of materials and devices with applications in biotechnology and medicine. This program is NSF funded and is limited to 10 students, all of whom will be provided with housing and a $6,000 stipend for the work. The deadline for applications is January 17th, 2024.
