Good Morning, All!

Here we are in the final days of the semester. Some of you will be off to new adventures after Saturday’s graduation and hopefully many of you are looking forward to the plans you’ve made for a fun (and maybe even a productive) summer! Whatever is coming up for you in the next few months, we hope you have a chance to relax and recharge after a busy Spring 2022 semester! You’ve earned it! 😃

But before you get there, some of you still have finals to wrap up.         *   The BMES 2022 Annual Meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas, October 12th-15th. If you are a member of our BMES chapter, the club will pay for your travel, hotel, and admission. It’s a quick trip to Denver to meet with over 200 professional schools and health association participants, which would be a great opportunity for anyone interested in healthcare!   *   Missouri Breaks and the Avera Research Institute are hosting a one-day research symposium addressing Wellness and Research in Indian Country on May 12th from 9:00AM-5:00PM at the Dahl Arts Center (713 7th St., Rapid City). This event will address current research studies, results, and discussions of the needs of research in the area of Native American health and wellness.
