Greetings, All!


Welcome to the final week of June. 😲 (I know, it’s hard for me to believe, too!) I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that your summer is going well! We have been extra busy here in the Department of Nanoscience & Biomedical Engineering as we make some major changes to our main office space and move folks around to different offices. You’ll also being seeing some new faces this fall as we welcome Dr. Brandon Scott and Dr. Shan Zhou to our line-up of tenure-track faculty and Leslie Prosneski (soon to be changing to Leslie Hill – congratulate her on just getting married!) as our new program assistant! Dr. Scott & Leslie will be around this summer if you’d like to drop in and introduce yourself and Dr. Zhou will be here in August. Feel free to swing by the office later this summer or in early Fall to say, “Hello!” and to check out all the changes to our space! (I’ve put out the secret desk chocolate in anticipation of your visit. 😝)



If you are a pre-med student, there is a big research study being conducted by the University of Colorado, UCLA, and Hamilton College that is looking at the impacts of COVID-19 on the pre-med journey and perceptions of the healthcare field.
