The 14th annual Dublin Dash is hosted by Mines’ student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE). Check in on March 21 is from 9-9:45 a.m. and the run/race begins at 10 a.m. Proceeds support scholarships and student conference trips. There is a $5 discount for early registration before March 20 at noon. Wear green and bring your leprechaun costumes because the best group costume wins a prize!

High Plains Regional Science & Engineering Fair Call for Judges

Rock and Fossil ID Day

Have you always wondered what the fossil your grandad found actually is? Could treasure be locked inside the rock you found while hiking? Come get these pressing questions answered at the Museum of Geology. Students will be on hand to help identify your rocks and fossils!  We can't assess value.

Cultural Expo
March 26 & 28
South Dakota Mines international students and a variety of community groups will celebrate their cultural diversity with food, entertainment, and displays during the annual Cultural Expo in the Surbeck Center. The event is open to K-12 schools from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on March 26 and open to the general public from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on March 28.

Summer Camp Registration Open
June-July 2020
South Dakota Mines summer camps for middle and high school students are designed to be fun and hands on. Most camps last five days and students come from all over the country to attend. Some camps are free of charge.
