Students Learn About Careers in Healthcare during Pre-Med @ Mines
High school students and their families who attended Pre-Med @ Mines had a chance to explore careers in healthcare with an emphasis on engineering and science. The event was one part of Health Professions Week at Mines, which helped current SD Mines students explore the myriad of careers in healthcare.

Parade of Trees
December 4-5
Come see the creative efforts of SD Mines student organizations faculty, and staff groups, and community members who take part in the annual Parade of Trees in the Surbeck Center Ballroom. This year’s theme is Griswold Family Christmas! Community members are asked to bring a can of food for the student food pantry for entry to the event. Open to the public Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Fall Band Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in the SD Mines Music Center. The Fall Band Concert will feature several guest conductors. As always, the concert is free and open to the public.

Holiday at the Cathedral Concert
December 7 & 8
The annual Holiday at the Cathedral Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 8 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral. The free concert includes the University Choir, Master Chorale, Men’s and Women’s Choirs. This year's theme is "home for the holidays."

SD Mines 2019 fall graduation takes place at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Theatre, located at 444 N. Mt. Rushmore Road in Rapid City, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.
