Hardrockers Beat Orediggers in History Making Game
It was 100 years in the making, but it was worth it for the SD Mines football program as the Hardrockers defeated the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers for the first time on October 14 in an Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchup at O'Harra Stadium. The final score was 37-29 in a history making game.

Frederico Vigil, an artist often referred to as the "Michelangelo of New Mexico," will exhibit original compositions from Oct. 31-Dec. 1. in the Apex Gallery at SD Mines. The tenth annual "Night at the Museum" hosted by the SD Mines Paleontology Club at the Museum of Geology was a huge success.  The annual event celebrates both Halloween and the geosciences.

SD Mines students with the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity hosted the first annual "Night in the Cold" campout in the Mines Quad. The event raised money for the Cornerstone Rescue Mission.
