is</span> encouraging student athletes to vote for an increase in the General Activity Fee (GAF), which would be an additional $1.20 per credit hour. This small increase would have a dramatic impact across campus and would allow the School of Mines to better
support all student activities. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span class="gmaildefault">An increase can free up funds to give your sport more access to equipment and scholarship opportunities. </span>Th<span class="gmaildefault">e </span>current budget deficit forces the allocation committee to make cuts, and sadly,
the first group affected is Student Orgs and CAMP teams funded through SOAP. The Student Senate doesn't want to lower funding to ANY program, that's why this increase is so important!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
