As you likely have read, the NCAA has adopted an interim policy regarding Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) that allows student-athletes significantly more latitude to profit from their NIL - this policy goes into effect on July 1, 2021 (today).<br>

There will be more details from the NCAA in the coming days, and I will distribute information and educational documents to you as they become available. It is possible that the RMAC will choose to develop policies and procedures for NIL activities, and it
is likely that South Dakota Mines will have some guidelines for you once we digest the new policy and determine how to implement it.<br>
