Student-Athletes:

Hardrocker Athletics is partnering with the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE<https://risetowin.org/what-we-do/educate/index.html>) for the 2020-2021 Academic year.  RISE has been working with professional, college and high school athletic programs across the country since 2015. Personally, I had the pleasure of working with them at my former institution and received positive feedback from our student athletes on the programming offered.  RISE has established what they call the Discovery Phase to help us assess the perspectives and experiences from student-athletes, coaches and staff in order to inform strategic plans designed to meet the athletic department’s goals in the area of diversity and inclusion. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below.

Student-Athlete Perceptions Survey

Thank you for taking the time to complete the college student-athlete perceptions survey. This survey was designed by the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE) to gather perceptions about the impact that race and diversity have on your collegiate athletic experience and what role you think you can play in such conversations. Thousands of student-athletes across the country have completed the survey and we believe that it’s important for your opinions to be included as well.

Information gathered from this survey will be used to help the university develop a comprehensive diversity and inclusion plan. Your input is extremely important in this process.
