Dear Student,

Registration day for the fall 2010 semester is tomorrow - Monday, August 30.  Links to the registration day/week schedule and pertinent information are available from the SDSM&T homepage and are listed below.

Included in the above information is a reminder that ALL students must complete the registration confirmation form which is available from the WebAdvisor student menu main page through the link "2010 Fall Registration Confirmation."  This registration confirmation is mandatory and is available now through midnight on Friday, September 10.  However, since this confirmation form collects information on how you intend to pay your bill and where any refund should be sent, it would be better if you complete and submit the form by the end of payment days which is 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1.  If you do not complete this form, your courses for the fall semester may be dropped.  For continuing students, this registration confirmation replaces the old "IamHere" survey.

Don't know your advisor?  Your advisor's name and contact information can also be found through the WebAdvisor student menu under "My Profile."  As departments periodically need to reassign advisees to different advisors, it is good to occasionally check WebAdvisor to see if your advisor assignment has changed.

Already printed your 2010 fall class schedule?   Before you head off to class on the first day, please check your schedule via WebAdvisor for a any changes in classroom assignments and/or changes to the class schedule which may have transpired since you last printed it.

Know your FERPA rights and make your choices about allowing disclosure or restricting disclosure of your information.  Use the new link on WebAdvisor - Student Information Disclosure Options - to notify us of your choices.

SDSM&T Tablet PC Program - Piloted in 2006, the SDSM&T PC program has evolved from a program of 25 pilot users to its current all undergraduate student participation format. VERY IMPORTANT DATE:  Thursday, September 9, 2010

                Last day to add a course for standard semester courses.
                Last day to choose the Audit registration option for a course.
                Last day to choose the Pass/Fail registration option for an individual course.
                Last day to drop a course for standard semester course without paying in full and without the course being recorded on the transcript.
                Last day to submit a graduation application for the December 2010 commencement.
