AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ORNITH-L and OC-NET MEMBERS

In approximately 6-8 weeks, the Ornith-L and OC-Net listserves will be shut down. The Ornithological Council will be joining an exciting new ornithology community website and forum called

OrnithologyExchange.org

This new website will serve as a central exchange of information by, for, and about ornithology. It will host discussion forums on a wide range of topics, including current research, permits, animal welfare, research ethics, methods, Q&A on writing papers, presenting talks, preparing posters, teaching, research funding, and many other topics of interest to ornithologists.

Best of all, members will be able to create content and initiate discussions.

EVEN WITHOUT REGISTRATION, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE ACCESS TO THE HOME PAGE, WHICH INCLUDES THE NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS AND JOB LISTINGS. HOWEVER, YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE DISCUSSION FORUMS AND OTHER CONTENT.

The discussion forums and other content will be open to all members of any of the ornithological societies listed below.

The website will feature research spotlights, announcements, and much more.
