Dr. Gadhamshetty is an Associate Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at SD Mines. He is the recipient of a prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER award. He is currently an investigator in research projects worth $3.5
million. His work is supported by Electric Power Research Institute, NSF, and NASA. His research on generating electricity from defective tomatoes was featured in 350 media outlets including BBC World Service, CNN, History Now, and Popular Science.<br>
